Hail the toilet bowl!

I added laxative to the water that I served out at the committee and board meetings today. Why? cos I hate seeing all of them fake cordial and civil to one another. I know they hate each other's gutz. I know who hates whose. And I loathe them for acting like 'we are working towards the same purpose' (world peace *pukes). It's fake, it's insulting, even to the onlookers.

So, I added laxative to the water. I even went in to check if they finished drinking so that I may bring in a fresh round of water, slightly tainted with laxative, nevertheless.

I'm just sitting at my place, feigning ignorance. But of cos I know. I know who used up all the toilet paper in the toilets, both female and male. HAHAHA

What's so wrong/bad?

What's so bad...

1. about not knowing what you want, if you do know what you don't want?
2. about choosing to stay ignorant, if ignorance gives you bliss?
3. about making the first move, if you know otherwise nothing will ever happen?
4. about waiting, if you believe waiting is the only way to your happiness?
5. about giving up, if all you want will not be the fruits of your labour?
6. about wanting out, if getting in puts you out?

What's so wrong...
1. if we all stop running and inhale the flowers?
2. if I'm unemployed but I still get by with life in a fulfilling way?
3. if I'm unmarried and I want to mother a child?

finally,
What's so bad about the collapse of the capitalist system? What's so wrong about the rich losing more than the poor? The more talk of narrowing the wealth gap is, ironically, just making the gap wider. That, is wrong, very wrong, and very bad.

Worklife revamped.

Today I left my office at 4pm, after I cleared all my stuff for today. I went home, rested, watched a bit of TV. Staria woke up from her nap and I played with her. She's really into this little piano that she had as a birthday gift from her God-ma - my best fren. She's gonna be a terrible pianist when she grows up, judging at the rate she's going. haha... In the kitchen, Ma was beginning to prepare dinner. Chicken with ginger and black soya sauce, and Sichaun soup, and beansprouts... Yumm...

Thank goodness the change in work time and work pay structure took place in my time. I can't imagine how people used to work from 8.30am to 6pm. they practically had to spend a whole day in the office, when they can be spending more time with their family, especially their children. It's great now that we only need to go in not later than 10am and can leave as soon as we accomplish the tasks on hand for the day.

*The above rehearsal is the result of a fruitless attempt to understand the phenomenon of people feeling guilty if they leave earlier than half an hour later than their official knock-off time.*

Workplace should be about productivity and efficiency, not about how long you drag the hours to appear busy. Work is essential for many reasons, but no more essential than not to let work consume your conscience and your personal life.

Make love, have a few kids.

Staria: Ma-meeee, what time you come back? I want to go...
Me: okay, darling.. tonight okay...
Staria: promise, mamee...
Me: Yesh, baby, promise. We will go tonight okay... Now, be good. ma-meee gotta go work.
Staria: byebye... (hugs me and turns back into the house)
Me: Bye, baby! (hugs and blows a flying kiss)

Me thinks: Gotta get off work on time today. Need to take Staria out to the river angbao... last day today. shit man, where has all the time gone to... sigh, so lucky to have a daughter to come home to. Such a darling... Wonder why our birthrate's so low... those people obviously don't know the joy of having your own child. Damn it, better walk faster... don't know can catch the bus or not...

Don't you look only at the numbers, 'cos some things in life can never be measured by the numbers, and they're the ones that really matter.
